Deneen FrazierBowen

Becoming an actress is a dream that took hold on Ms. Frazier-Bowen's sixteenth birthday, when her parents gave her two tickets to see the Broadway show, Dreamgirls. Ms. Frazier-Bowen remembers being mesmerized by Jennifer Holliday's performance on stage and realizing what she wanted to do with her life... the only problem was she was a short, white girl who couldn't sing. The road to being a professional actress was not a direct one as it took Ms. Frazier-Bowen a decade to fully commit herself to being a professional actress. During that time, she forged a career in education, working with schools and teachers to better leverage new technologies as learning tools. Now an experienced and versatile actress, Ms. Frazier-Bowen earned a 2003 B. Iden Payne award nomination for "Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama" for her portrayal of Annie Lou Holsom in Waiting for MacArthur. Other premiere stage roles include Darcy Snelgrave in the intense and erotic, One Flea Spare; the title role of a dog in Sylvia; and, Sissy in the West Texas Classic, Come Back to the Five and Dime, Jimmy Dean, Jimmy Dean. Currently, she is collaborating on a new one-woman show, Head Over Heels. On film, Ms. Frazier-Bowen can be seen in several independent features: an undercover cop in the independent feature "Manhood is Dead" and a corporate go-getter in the film "Severance." Her work in short films includes the enthusiastically narcissistic newscaster in "The Last Race" and the confident woman in "Love in 3 Minutes." In addition to dramatic acting, Ms. Frazier-Bowen is also well versed in industrial films, commercials and voiceovers. She studies Alexander Technique with Sumi Komo and has worked with a wide variety of teachers. In her free time, Ms. Frazier-Bowen loves to snowboard or backpack in the mountains with her husband.

Leslie Fisher

Leslie Fisher’s interest in technology began while studying music at the University of Southern California. She quickly realized the value of utilizing computers for music mixing and thus began a personal discovery process where technology replaced the flute and brought her nationally celebrated talents to us today. After graduating from USC with a Business and Marketing degree in 1989, she went to an Apple Computer Inc. subsidiary where she was in charge of the education marketing and training program. Wanting more technical experience, Leslie left this company in 1992 and joined Apple Computer Inc. as a Senior Systems Engineer in K-12 education, providing technology solutions to school districts across Southern California. When the Internet took off in 1994, Leslie was one of the first Apple employees assigned to study Internet growth and implementation. Due to her knowledge of web design, server implementation and Internet resources, she became the Internet resource in the Educational Western Region. In 1997, Leslie was road kill on Apple's road to recovery and was part of their massive lay off. Leslie planned to spend most of her huge severance package golfing and waiting a few months to look for a job. The day after her layoff, her phone began to ring with Apple customers requesting consulting. Before she could say fore, Fisher Technologies Inc. was created to help educators with their technology implementation and decision. Fisher Technologies Inc. is now a nationwide Corporation providing web design, consulting, training and presentation services to school districts and companies. In 1984, David moved to a central office position as Director of Technology and then on to the North Carolina State Department of Public Instruction where he served as a technology integration consultant and built the nation’s first state department of education web site. Since 1995, Mr. Warlick has been the owner and principal consultant of The Landmark Project, a professional development, web design, and innovations firm in Raleigh North Carolina. During this time David has spoken at conferences and delivered workshops for educators in nearly every state of the U.S. and audiences in Europe, Asia, and South America. He created and maintains the second oldest continuing online project, Global Grocery List, and writes for publications that include Technology & Learning Magazine, ALA’s KnowledgeQuest, Education World, and CUE Online. He has also written three books about modern technologies in education and contemporary literacy, and he has been quoted in Education Week, The San Francisco Chronicle, The New York Times, Washington Post, and USA TODAY.
