Camp Mustang Overview Join Camp Mustang this summer for an exciting experience filled with learning and adventure. As a fully-endorsed Morrison program, our aim this summer is to provide enhancement of learning, fun and enjoyment, and educational adventures for the entire Morrison community. We invite your children to spend the beginning of their summer at Camp Mustang learning, connecting with friends, and having a great time. We have brought together a dedicated, dynamic, and highly skilled staff to bring you an extraordinary experience in sports, academics, visual arts, performing arts, recreation, language learning, and character building.

Kindergarten — 1st Primary Picasso Head Teachers: Mrs. Jennifer Freeman Morning Session M – F 9:00am – 3:00pm Cost: 6,000NT for 1/2 day 12,000NT for full day 10% off before 3/31

Mornings Would you like to splatter paint like Pollock? Paint like an impressionist such as Monet? Build a mobile like Calder? Create pop art like Warhol? Young artists will enjoy a journey of self-expression through art while experiencing a variety of mediums and art forms. All campers will get to enjoy playing with friends, a daily game show lunch, and extended outdoor water play, followed by an afternoon of creative expression through character building activities and exercises.

Game show lunch and Fun In The Sun Supervised free play involving swimming, water play, organized games, and snack time. Staff will make sure your child spends a balanced time in and out of the sun, provide sunscreen, and a safe loving environment for a fantastic mid-day break.

Afternoons Kick off the summer with a fun learning experience focused on promoting healthy routines and having fun with friends. Students will be given opportunities to develop creative expression through character building activities and exercises. Each week will have a different theme and new activities. Mornings Kick off the summer with an exciting learning experience focused on promoting strong digital citizenship and creativity in a digital world. Campers can expect the following activities:  A time of sports recreation with a mini Basketball camp to start the day, as physical activity is key to a balanced life.  Learning what it means to be a good online “global citizen”. Through this program your child will learn the importance in being kind and how to make friends online, in a safe, beneficial way.  Learning responsible internet usage practices After a game show style lunch with challenges and prizes daily, campers will hit the outdoors for water activities during our Fun in the Sun hour.

Afternoons Campers will have a chance to be a “Digital Pioneer” during this program.  Discover hands-on the craft of 3D printing, as well as creating with a 3D pen, as well as Robotics in our MakerSpace workshop.  Exercise creativity through Legomation, the art of stop motion animation.  Campers will leave each week with animated film that they can be proud of and can showcase to family and friends around the world!

Sports ‘n Study Skills Prepare for life in Middle School and beyond with this program that aims to give you the skills you need to succeed. We live in a digital world, with almost every area of your life connected to technology. Physical activity is also a key to life balance so campers can look forward to starting their morning with a mini Basketball camp hosted by Coach Manu, followed by the Middle School Bootcamp. Campers will:  Learn how to be a leader and develop a positive online identity, while moderating the use of technology in their life.  Spend time learning software applications that can enhance your skills in Middle School, whether it’s MindMup for brainstorming and mindmapping, or any of the numerous apps for developing school projects and assignments.  Adventure to the Seven Wonders of the World, swim with sharks, visit the Red Planet, climb Yosemite’s El Capitan rock face and more with our time each day spent on Google’s Virtual Reality technology, “Explorer”.  Introduction to Google Expeditions as we explore our world through amazing new technology. This will be a valuable time of focusing on developing the tools necessary for Middle School, with the morning session wrapped up by lunch and Fun in the Sun.

Afternoon STEM Camp STEM Camp & Film Academy will be hosted in the afternoon, focused on the exciting fields of Robotics, 3D Printing and Film. Melding science and creativity is at the heart of this summer’s program with campers  Gaining hands on experience in our MakerSpace lab for Robotics and 3D Printing.  Learning the skills and tools they need to produce high quality short movies through our Summer Film Academy.  Learning the tools of the film trade, preparing them for various video projects that are required during their middle school years at Morrison, including the CSPAN Project in 8th grade.  Experiencing all stages of film production, including writing, directing, editing and post production.  Will leave at the end of the first week with a final, completed film project.  For campers wishing to continue in the academy for a second week, an additional project will be produced more independently using their skills learned during the first week of camp. go.mca.org.tw/CampMustang

MS/HS High School Boot Camp (for MS) Head Teacher: Mr. Clive Hsu Week 1, May 30 - June 3 M-F, 12:30-3:00pm Cost: $10,000 Develop the study skills and organizational management strategies critical to succeed in High School. Join High School Counselor, Mr. Clive Hsu, for a week of skills training and planning exercises aimed at preparing you for an effective High School experience.

MS Basketball Clinic Head Teacher: Mr. Rex Manu Week 1 & 2, May 30 - June 3 and June 6 - 10 M-F, 12:30-3:00pm Cost: $6,000 for each session This camp will guide basketball players of all levels to become confident ball handlers, accurate shooters, and creative passers with strong finishing moves to the basket. The format of this camp will include competitive games that focus on court vision and teamwork.

HS Offerings Camp Mustang will be offering two exciting programs for this summer for high school students, Dynamic College Portfolio Workshop and Jiujitsu MMA. More specific details will be communicated separately.
