GROWing leaders at FIRST: “Effective, Godly leadership means giving what you have so that God may be glorified in all you do.” John C. Maxwell. And now, it’s time for the CARDINAL SHOUTOUT; a place for us to recognize how talented and diversified our students are!

Congratulations of the baptism of Dalton Turnipseed. Way to go Evan Stuever on the special Pit Bike course you recently rebuilt. ORDER GIFT CARDS!!!: We will be placing an order for gift cards soon! Are you planning to give gift cards as Christmas gifts? Or could you use some gift cards to go do your Christmas shopping? To see what’s available, please stop by the office or go to https://shop.shopwithscrip.com/ and scroll down and click on “retailer list”. The participating retailers sell the cards to the school at a discount, we sell them to you at face value, and the profit is a fundraiser for the school! Also, we have $100 in SEARS Gift cards that we would like to sell. The reorganizing doesn’t affect our local SEARS, and they are definitely still taking the Scrip Cards…so…if you are doing some shopping there, please stop by the office and purchase some cards to use while you are there. OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD DEADLINE!!!: Please return your filled shoeboxes to the office ASAP. If you aren’t ready, please contact the office and let us know when you will be able to return it, so we don’t mail the others off without yours. FOOD DONATION REQUESTS: As you select foods to donate to the church food pantry, please keep in mind that the food is going to those who may not be able to afford extra ingredients to put with something; for instance, cream of chicken/mushroom soup usually goes with chicken/green beans/etc. Beans usually have ham included. We ask, to avoid disappointment to those receiving the food, that you give only foods that can serve as a complete meal already, and need nothing more than water and/or heat added. Chicken noodle or vegetable beef soup are best sellers! Thank you so much for what you donate; the families in need appreciate it! LIBRARY – Mrs. Ware: It's time for the annual Scholastic Book Fair. One of the biggest keys to its success is volunteers. I need volunteers who are willing to help me set up the book fair, to help during special events, and most especially on our grandparent day events. I appreciate the help so very much, and look forward to speaking with you soon. Please contact me through FastDirect or through the office about volunteering. Thank you! -1-
