North zone Update By Tim Mackey

In 2009 the North Zone saw a number of new and upgraded disc golf projects. The cities of Albany and St. Augusta installed 18 hole championship courses. The St. Augusta course will be used as part of the 2010 A tier event in St. Cloud. New cement tee pads were installed by the SCDGC at both Riverside, and Calvary Hill. In spring of 2010 phase 3 of cement tee pads will begin at both courses. Potential new courses in the North Zone for 2010 include Sauk Rapids, Fertile, Bemidji, and Carlton. The Foley High school course has been pulled due to new building construction. No timetable set for re-installation. North Zone jamming nights will be Thursday evenings at SCSU gym or field house.
