mountain biking is all about your limits. The more difficult trails you ride the bigger fun you may have if shred it with a well-designed frame!

Thunderbird cf is an all-new carbon enduro frame, dedicated to the difficult terrain and riding conditions. With a perfect lateral stiffness, it is a great 29-er enduro machine with aggressive geometry and 160mm of progressive frame travel. Thunderbird cf will work great with the modern heavy-duty forks with 160-170mm travel.

despite the big wheels, the new Thunderbird cf has the dartmoor dN a and it will not let you down on big jumps, drops, or even in bike parks. for keeping the frame trouble-free, all pivot points are working on the stiff axles mounted on the sealed max type bearings.

The progressive suspension design of the Thunderbird cf is perfect for both types of shocks: spring shocks and large volume air shocks. The construction reduces also the negative impact of braking on the suspension operation. front triangle and seat stays are made of high-quality carbon fiber with increased wall thickness for better stiffness. The massive rocker is made of one piece of forged aluminum. To ensure the proper strength and durability the whole chainstay and the inserts in the points that are the most exposed to overload in carbon material are made of aluminum as well.

b efore we decided to launch the Thunderbird cf frame for mass production, it not only passed a series of tests on a load machine, where the overloads were much greater than required by the standards but it was also strictly tested on the toughest trails of many european enduro races by our team riders: marcin m otyka – a legend of the polish bicycle scene and Olaf Odziomek – a young gun on the polish enduro scene. a nother period of testing was including uncompromised shredding in the austrian, c zech and polish bike parks, where our r& d Jan k iliński was checking the strength of the frame on the high drops and long jumps.

The Thunderbird cf is available either without a shock or with the highend fox X2 factory air shock with high-speed/low-speed compression and high-speed/low-speed rebound adjustments, with 2-pos. Open/firm lever, coated with a Genuine kashima coat.

With this aluminum beast, you are ready to huck whatever you want on the track. 170mm of travel in the back and up to 190mm in the front ensure enough room for errors and party laps. s imple Horst link design built around proven four-bar suspension is balanced for pedal efficiency and braking to shred factor. it is not a do-it-all marketing scheme bike. We like our bikes to be as progressive and stiff as possible, ready to jump over roots rather than be glued to them. 29-inch wheels with 148x12mm b oost hubs are already an overkill to ride over rough terrain. Our enduro Team rider uses Thunderbird superenduro both for d ownhill and e Ws races during a season. Not a U ci fan? fr stands for freeride, and this is what you should do with this bike. a new Thunderbird fr frame sits on 27.5" wheels, as they are easier to get than 26" nowadays. coil or air - it is your choice where you want to play with it. We designed it for bikepark laps with friends that choose double black diamonds for a warm-up run. it is a progressive and stiff as hell platform ready to be braapped, hucked, and miss-treated regularly.

Thunderbird fr pedals just right to keep the sweat off during beer runs while its suspension stays responsive enough to prevent cold ones from ruffling. Well, that is what our r&d team says. 180mm of rear and up to 200mm of front travel with geometry allowing to fit a 29-inch front wheel means you can easily match it with a dual crown fork and keep the eyes away from your lovely mullet. With a great price to build ratio, you can easily save on a bike and travel more!

for keeping the frame trouble-free, all pivot points are working on the stiff axles mounted on the sealed max type bearings. The progressive suspension design is perfect for both types of shocks: spring shocks and large volume air shocks. The construction reduces also the negative impact of braking on the suspension operation. if you look for some more tech talk - the head tube is ready to take the new generation of 1.8" tapered forks with 68-69mm crowns and the dropout is compatible with the sram Universal d erailleur Hanger (UdH).

There is a completely new model in the dartmoor- b ikes frame collection! s ay hello to rocbird, the successor to the blackbird and bluebird frames. With the new frame construction, this enduro/singletrack machine will make climbs easier and descents, even more playful. rocbird is a lighter frame than the aluminum Thunderbirds so it will take some less beating on the most demanding lines, but on most of the enduro trails you will feel the same riding fun, as rocbird has the progressive Horst suspension design that works flawlessly, even under heavy braking. rocbird feels bottomless at the curve's end, allowing both spring and air shocks.

The combination of a larger wheel at the front and a smaller one at the rear guarantees perfect handling on all types of trails. To increase rigidity and reliability, we used ma X-type bearings with LLU-type seals in this frame.

Thanks to the replaceable shock mount, the rocbird can be fitted with two sizes of shocks and obtain a frame travel of 160mm or 140mm, adapting it to the preferred riding style.

enduro demands maximum versatility from a bike – difficult and long uphilling, downhilling in the most difficult conditions, jumps, and drops are the standard challenges that the equipment must face. b ased on our own and our riders’ experience we placed a stiff single-pivot construction at the bike’s heart. This simple solution makes it possible to create a modern bike that fulfills the demands of even the most demanding riders. The advanced swingarm cage, consisting of 12 welded elements and tubes, is very stiff and the carefully designed pivot position allows high pedaling efficiency (with the antisquad parameter at about 100% pedal-bob effect is eliminated).

The swingarm is connected to the front triangle with a super stiff 17mm axle, mounted on three max type bearings packed with waterproof m obil grease. The design of the shock mount yoke means a full-length seat tube can be used, enabling plenty of room for the new long travel dropper posts.

The frame design is based on modern, progressive geometry suitable for 27.5" wheels with a low positioned bb , a relatively long front triangle, 65° head tube angle, and 160mm frame travel. The blackbird climbs with ease but it will really come alive when shredding down.

New version of b lackbird 27.5 frame since the 2021 season is designed for the 230x65mm metric shocks and 148x12mm b oost hubs.

The blackbird Jr is a 26" wheels compatible full suspension frame designed for a wide range of gravity riding and dedicated for the young bikers measuring between 140cm and 160cm. The advanced swingarm cage equipped with three m ax type sealed bearings packed with waterproof m obil grease and a strong 17mm diameter axle ensures a stiff and strong frame. The higher placed pivot position offers high pedaling efficiency and eliminates pedal-bob when climbing. b luebird frame uses the same simple but very effective suspension system as the b lackbird but delivers 130mm travel optimized for longer days on the trails. The rear axle spacing is 148x12mm b oost standard and the frame is designed for 210x50mm metric shocks and 27.5" wheels with tire size from 2.3" to 2.8". The advanced swingarm cage equipped with three max type sealed bearings packed with waterproof mobil grease and a strong 17mm diameter axle ensures a stiff and strong frame. The higher placed pivot position offers high pedaling efficiency and eliminates pedal-bob when climbing. The low bb position provides high stability in difficult terrain while the 66˚ head tube angle ensures a perfect riding control no matter how steep is the track. construction

Our super-strong and wide asymmetric welded rim for gravity riding. With the 32mm inner width Thunder rim is designed for the 2.35” up to 2.6” tires. The asymmetric profile design reduce the difference in the length of the spokes on the right and left side of the wheel providing more equal spoke tension on both sides. Thunder has a tubeless ready profile design and the rim will keep even the wide tires safe in place at low pressure. Thunder rim is made of 6013-T5 aluminium alloy which is approx. 25% stronger than the standard 6061 alloy.

Important: When building the wheels the flat wall of the rim should be on the drive side for the rear wheel and on the brake side for the front wheel to equal the spoke tension properly. please check the assembly manual on the opposite page.

The ultra-light reel e xpert series rear hubs are the upgraded reel pro v.2 hubs that were available before. The reel e xpert hubs are equipped with a new wide pawls system with 108 engagement points and a reinforced structure to meet the requirements of modern drivetrains with cassettes generating very high loads when uphilling on a 51T or 52T cog.

each pawl has 2 teeth, catching the ratchet ring at the same time to increase the reliability of the pawls system. This super-strong system has already been used by us in the 2021 dartmoor product range on raven and Thunder straight-pull wheels.

There are four versions of reel e xpert rear hubs, three are equipped with aluminum 7075 internal axle and freehubs compatible with s himano HG (a common type of freehub), shimano microspline, or sram Xd standards. The fourth version is dedicated to e-bikes and is equipped with a cr- m o steel internal axle and a cr- mo steel shimano HG freehub to withstand the loads generated by the drivetrains of gravity e-bikes.

The reel e xpert rear hubs are equipped with highest quality sealed bearings with LLU full-contact seals branded with the dartmoor logo and custom selected m obil waterproof grease for the best mud and dust protection.

There are 5 sealed bearings in the hubs with shimano HG and sram X d freehubs and 6 sealed bearings in the hubs with shimano microspline freehub.

Grips are the main connection points between the rider and the bike - this is where we feel our bike the most and where we control it. poor grips are a bit like driving "hands-free" off-road after rain - we do not recommend it. That's why safe, durable, and strong grips are such an important piece of our bikes. When creating our new maze pro grips, we used the proven labyrinth pattern of m aze grips and added an inner plastic sleeve tapering at the end. a fter the grips are fully loaded onto the handlebar, this tapered sleeve effectively
