ADAS is a non-profit organization that fosters fine art appreciation and education within our communities, provides the opportunity for artists to further their artistic development, and supports the school art programs through fundraising. Membership includes artists and patrons who appreciate the visual arts and currently consists of over 200 professional and non-professional artists of all levels. The Danville Library Bookstore is run by the Friends of the Danville Library and offers something for everyone including fiction, nonfiction, children’s books or coffee table books. The bookstore also hosts large book sales during the year when thousands of books are available for purchase. The Danville Public Library has a strong collection of children’s, teens and adult materials, six catalog computers, 33 public Internet workstations, including a public ADA computer workstation. The library also has new Early Literacy Computers pre-loaded with fun and interactive activities for children ages 2-8. There is a variety of free programs for children, teens and adults. Children’s storytimes include: Mother Goose Time, Toddler Storytime, Preschool Storytime and different programs for children sponsored by the Danville Library Foundation. SAT Strategy sessions are available for teens as well as a chance to serve on the Danville Library Teen Advisory Board. Programs for adults include monthly book clubs and

The Dougherty Station Library is a joint-use 11,600-square foot library serving the needs of San Ramon’s growing population and the Diablo Valley College campus.
