Ok so I'm 18, turning 19 next month so im not totally a new driver, i've been driving for about 2 and a half years. I want to get this 2002 red Ford mustang, its a v6. I was wondering if the insurance is going to be crazy high, also its a rwd and the winters here get pretty snowy, would that be a factor in calculating the cost? I know I sound like the worst case scenario for insurance agencies (Young driver, Male, Sports car, Red). Will the fact that I have a couple of years driving experience lower my costs?

My son currently does not have health insurance at work; therefore, he has been buying short-term coverage which can be purchased month by month, every 3 months, or 6 months. The downside is that after 12 months of consecutive coverage, he has to sit out for 2 months (no insurance coverage). Not ideal, I know but it's all he can afford at this point. It basically costs him less than $40 a month. Just wondering about this. I guess we don't know yet how much coverage will cost under the ACA?? Hi Can anyone help me re company car insurance I am currently getting a company car and now under the companies insurance, so dont need my own private insurance.

I currently have 9 years NCD. I am now worried, what happens if I leave the company in a few years time, do I have to start from scratch again with no NCD, or can I still use my 9 years NCD anyone know (I have read they are valid for 2 years) I have asked Direct Line (my insurer) and they cant give me a straight answer, I get something different each time. I wanted to know if I was involved in an accident with company insurance I appreciate I have to state that when going back to private insurance but if I had an accident and had no NCD my premium would be sky high which I find unfair if I lose my 9 years NCD as I have not actually taken a break from driving.
