Chapter 1

From Dead Print to Interactivity I have been an English teacher for over 15 years, and I have use countless titles of course books for different proficiency levels and age groups. Never do I use the book alone in class. I add materials and activities that I pull out, that students pull out, and digital content that I prepare or that my students make under my guidance. I do so because I feel the need to tap into my students need and personalize the learning content provided by books that are usually written for an international audience. Needless to say that I am excited about the idea of writing relevant eBooks myself. However, I need to be sure of what I want to write, how I will do it, and most importantly why I`d engage in this task.
