.

Thank you for your cooperation. We have received a partial response to Urban Wildland Group, Inc's ("UWG") Public Recor.d Act ("PRA") request for documents. Unfortunately, UCLA's response is incomplete;.it does not include records of any internal or external communication regarding the proposed archery project. We have no information regarding emails, no phone logs, no letters, etc. Likewise, the response does not include any memoranda or other documellt describing the Project or the objectives of the proponent (Easton Family/Easton Foundation) for the proposed archery range, etc. Last week, I was contacted by Vikki M. Gonzalez, Administrative Analyst, Records Management and Information Practices at UCLA, in connection with . UWG's PRA request. On May 14, 2012 I spoke with Ms. Gonzalez concerning UCLA's incomplete response to our PRA request. Ms. Gonzalez represented that she would investigate t~e issue and get back to me. To date, I have not heard back fro'm Ms. Gonzalez or from anyone else at UCLA.

..

As you know, we filed a Petition for Writ of Mandate in Los Angeles Superior Court challenging the University's continued failure to comply with our P~A request. I decided to initially hold off on serving the Petition to give you a chance to convince UCLA ..officials to respond to the PRA request. As I have explained, the response is woefully inadequate, leaving me no choice but to take steps to serve the Petition.
