Celebrate Waupun, held at the beginning of July, will add a new “Antique Appraisal Fair” event similar to the Antiques Road Show that will offer antique appraisals on Sat., July 5th at the Waupun Community Center. A new carnival, Happy World, from Texas will present an expanded Midway with all new and larger rides. The “Coors Light Variety Stage” this year will feature a mix of country, rock, blues and other genres of music each day. Due to the “Sister City” relationship that was created in 2013 between Waupun, WI and Henderson, LA the “Celebrate Louisiana Stage” will be highlighted this year with three Cajun and Zydeco bands that are from the Atchafalaya Basin “swamp area” around Henderson, LA. They are: Leroy Thomas and the Zydeco Roadrunners, Al Berard and the Basin Brothers and The Dog Hill Stompers. An amazing Fireworks Show will again be held on the 4th. Prison City Pull-Off Tractor Pull will be held on the Friday and Saturday in coordination with Celebrate Waupun again this year. City of Sculpture Statue tours, a Kidz Zone, Mayor’s Breakfast and the Agnesian HealthCare Heroes In Action are more of the activities offered at Tanner Park and surrounding areas for Celebrate Waupun!

Volksfest takes place in September and is the place to be if you enjoy polka, good food, beer and fun people. With free admission and non-stop music, Volksfest is the place to be.
