Az első fesztiválon, a 2013-as vetítéseken a lépcsőkön is ültek a Toldiban, újabb termeket kellett megnyitni, pótvetítéseket szervezni. Idén pedig a legfrissebb magyar termés mellett a nemzetközi rövidfilmes trendekbe is betekinthetünk. A világ minden tájáról érkeztek kisfilmek a 2014-es válogatásba: Irántól az USÁ-ig, Thaiföldtől Romániáig ível a spektrum, van köztük animáció, dráma, kísérleti film és groteszk komédia egyaránt. A fesztivált szervező Daazo.com szerint a kicsi is jó, sőt a kicsi az igazán jó: a rövidfilm elválaszthatatlan a filmszakmától, egyszerre kínál tehetséggondozást, utánpótlást és kompakt művészi élményt. Itt az idő, hogy a tehetségek méltó bemutatkozási lehetőséget kapjanak, illetve a rövidfilmes formátumot megismerje és megszeresse a budapesti közönség. At the first festival in 2013, all screenings were fully booked, dozens of people were sitting on the auditorium steps and secondary screening rooms had to be opened or follow-up screenings organised… This year the audience can catch a glimpse into current international trends besides the newest work of Hungarian filmmakers. Short films from every corner of the globe have been selected for the 2014 programme: the spectrum ranges from Iran to the USA, from Thailand to Romania and it includes animation, drama, experimental films and grotesque comedies alike. The organisers of the festival, Daazo.com, think that small is also good - moreover, small is extremely good. Short films are a crucial part of the film industry, they allow the discovery of new talent and offer the chance for groundbreaking experimentation as well as a compact artistic experience. It is high time that all this talent gets a platform to introduce itself and that the short film format becomes known and loved by a Budapest audience.
