For more information on these and other camps visit www.sullivanmunce.org. • How Artists See - June 1519, June 22-29, or July 27-31 - Author Colleen Carroll’s engaging, conversational books, How Artists See is filled with thought-provoking questions and imaginative activities that spark children’s natural curiosity both about the subject of the artwork and about the way it was created. We will be exploring ways artists see the world around them such as How Artists Sere Animals, How Artists See People and How People See the Weather. New activities and projects each week. • Ages 4-6 • 2:30 - 5 pm (Monday - Friday) • $80/$105 (member/non-member) • snack provided • Youth Art & Science Camps - June 15-19, June 22-29, or July 2731 - Have fun with projects and activities that enhance creativity and imagination while fostering creative research, engineering and design. Half of our day will be geared toward art projects and the other half will be spent in the clay studio discovering clay through hand building and working on the pottery wheel. • Ages 7-11 • 9 am - 5 pm (Monday - Friday) • $325/$350 (member/non-member) • snack provided; bring sack lunch • Youth Clay Camp - June 8-12, July 13-17 or July 20-24 - In this introduction to the world of ceramics, learn the hand building techniques of coiling clay and working with slabs, plus the basics of throwing on the wheel. Campers will also become familiar with how to glaze and fire their creations. This camp is great for the beginning or experienced camper. Just bring your sense of adventure and plan to get dirty! • Ages 7-11 • 9 am - Noon (Monday - Friday) • $160/$185 (member/non-member) • snack provided • Teen Drawing and Painting - June 8-12, July 13-17 or July 20-24 - This class will focus on developing and strengthening drawing skills with a series of fun exercises using classical techniques to train

the eye and hand to work in harmony. Learn the concept of enhancing, drawings using watercolor washes and colored pencils. We will work from photographs and life. No experience necessary. • Ages 12-17 • 9 am - Noon (Monday - Friday) • $130/$155 (member/non-member) • snack provided • Teen Mixed Media - June 8-12, July 13-17 or July 20-24 - Learn how to combine more than one medium into your contemporary artwork. Painting, printmaking, found objects and oil pastel over paint will transform your work into a multi-dimensional masterpiece! Campers will have a chance to experiment with different mediums to enhance their work. No experience necessary. • Ages 12-17 • 1 pm - 4 pm (Monday - Friday) • $130/$155 (member/non-member) • snack provided • Teen Clay Camp - June 8-12, July 13-17 or July 20-24 - This camp goes in-depth into the intricacies of throwing. Campers will also get the chance to express their creativity in the selection and application of glazes. This camp is great for the beginning or experienced camper. Explore the animals and plants in your backyard, and who really goes bump in the night. Ages: 12 – 14 years • Nature Navigators - Monday, July 6 – Friday, July 10 - Join us for an exciting week of outdoor activities while learning about nature in your backyard. Become a Junior Naturalist as we identify trees; explore wetlands, use binoculars to spot birds, and so much more. Ages: 9 – 11 years • Backyard Explorers - Monday, July 20 – Thursday, July 23 - Discover animals and habitats in your backyard as we turn over logs, hike trails, and explore nature with all our senses. Get up-close to a turtle, discover what a toad feels like and get creative! Ages: 4 – 5 years • Nature Day Camp - Looking for that camp experience, but one week just won’t work? Each camp features the same exciting outdoor activities, discoveries and animal encounters as our Nature Navigators camp, all rolled up into one day! (Submitted photo) CYT Musical Theater Summer Camp is one of the most affordable quality musical theatre camps in central Indiana. Campers are placed on a team (red, green, blue etc). In the morning, they rotate with their team to a variety of theater classes including dance, drama & voice taught by qualified instructors. After lunch, summer campers play exciting outdoor games before they come together with all the teams for showcase rehearsal. Our Jr. campers enjoy a fast paced, condensed structure to keep them engaged while learning theater basics. Last year 623 campers attended CYT camp in more than seven Central Indiana locations. All campers perform in the musical theater showcase at the end of the week, featuring a variety of songs, dances and drama. This

“Z’Camp” a Summer Day Camp for grades K-6 at PVE all summer long! There are cool field trips weekly. All campers receive a swim lesson on Mondays and Wednesdays at the Zionsville Aquatic Center at ZCHS. Every Friday students have an additional pool session to practice skills, play games or see a Dive-In movie. Monday-Thursday campers will paint with acrylics on an 11’ x 14” canvas and learn how to create using markers, oil and chalk pastels, colored pencil, and watercolors. With princesses, we’ll learn about royalty in the Animal Kingdom. Explore the creatures of the seas that pirates may have encountered. Traditional Day Camp The Traditional Day Camp is nature-focused with daily fun outdoor activities. An emphasis on games, hikes, animals and becoming comfortable in outdoor surroundings is a fundamental part of the program. This day camp is based out of the Lodge at Forest Park, 701 Cicero Rd. One day each week campers may meet at the Hague Road Nature Havens Park site to hike, wade and explore the aquatic life in Hinkle Creek and its surroundings. A portion of one day at the spray park rounds out the week’s fun at camp. Sessions are 9 a.m. to noon and 12:45 to 3:45 p.m. and cost $60 for residents and $70 for non-residents unless noted. • Backyard Games – Capture the Flag, Steal the Bacon, Dodgeball and all kinds of tag.
