The environment is very beautiful, and the air is fresh! I am enjoying life in this new environment and learning about a different culture.

Welcome to Culford’s One Year Programme Located on a glorious 480-acre estate, Culford is known for excellent pastoral care and strong academic results. Students learn in an environment of exceptional natural beauty, and outstanding facilities blend the best of traditional British architecture with modern comforts. Small by design, Culford’s one-year GCSE programme delivers a personalised learning experience within a supportive and caring environment. A dedicated team of staff skilled in working with English as an Additional Language (EAL) learners teach core subjects, study-skills, and courses in health and personal development. Teachers accommodate each pupil’s needs and learning style using a mixture of traditional teaching methods and advanced IT resources. Students are fully immersed in the life of the school and enjoy a full British boarding school experience. They live in the boarding Houses, where a dedicated Houseparent cares for their personal development and well-being. In addition, the IGCSE Tutor oversees the pastoral and academic needs of each pupil on the programme. At Culford, we care deeply about the well-being of each student, which is why our pastoral care has been rated as ‘excellent’ by the Independent Schools Inspectorate in their latest report. Nurtured and challenged by this intensive and enriching programme, successful students may go on to study A-levels at Culford and other prestigious UK boarding schools.
