Activ8ers

The Activ8ers include our 8 to 11 year old campers. From brain training to sports and dance, they can choose a class to fit their active and creative lifestyle. Most of these camps are held in the Elizabeth Turner Bradley Center (EBTC). The CSU Student Recreation Center will be the location for sport camps and the Center for Commerce and Technology will house our iTech camps. Drop off and pick up is at the EBTC.

Spy Camp: Operation Beat the Heat Join the ranks of superspies, filled with top secret briefings and activities that will put spy skills and street smarts to the test. Develop a disguise, make and break codes, discover escape and evasion techniques, create and use spy gadgets. All this and more awaits young recruits! Ages 8-11 / May 29–June 1 / 9am-12pm / $69

Ancient and Modern Olympics Study the history of the Olympics and learn how the Olympic games have changed. Participate in both ancient and modern Olympic events. Ages 8-11 / June 4– 8 / 9am-12pm / $79

Fantastic Voyage: USA Take a trip around the USA in five days while learning interesting facts about our great country. Test your skills with trivia and learn about the different foods, clothing, and cultures of the United States. Take a trip back to the past to see where it all began. Ages 8-11 / June 4– 8 / 1-4pm / $79

Sports by the Numbers Get a look at sports from a different angle to gain an advantage over the competition. Watch and play various sports to learn how math and science are

Architects Find out what it takes to be an architect! Learn about famous buildings around the world, discover how to design your own buildings, and create your own 3D model. Ages 8-11 / June 11– 15 / 9am-12pm / $79 Ages 8-11 / July 2– 6 / 9am-12pm / $69

Explain the Unexplainable Think it’s unthinkable to explain the unexplainable? Discuss the great mysteries and monsters of the world. Discover if the unexplainable can really be explained. Ages 8-11 / June 18– 22 / 9am-12pm / $79

Kid vs. Wild

Rocks, Minerals, and Fossils- Oh My! Examine the three types of rocks, minerals and fossils. Learn how they form and how to identify them. You’ll even dig for fossils without ever leaving the classroom! Your rock collection is sure to grow on this journey into ancient natural structures. Ages 8-11 / June 25– 29 / 9am-12pm / $79

Passport to the World Have you ever wanted to travel to foreign places? Come take a trip around the world with us! We will taste new foods, see new sights, speak new words and hear new music. Experience Asian, European, African, Australian and South American cultures. Ages 8-11 / July 2– 6 / 1-4pm / $69

Mathematics Fun

Would you be able to survive on your own if you were lost in the wilderness? Learn basic survival techniques and specific tips on arctic, desert and tropical survival. In a battle between kid vs. wild, you will always win!

Did you know that every time you throw a pair of dice, play cards, bake your favorite recipes, or even order a pizza, you are relying on mathematical applications? Experience the many fun applications that mathematics plays in our everyday lives.
