Welcome to the beginning of the 2017-18 academic year. As is our tradition, we have prepared a range of activities especially for you during University Week prior to our students’ return to campus. University Week events will take place August 21-27. This year’s theme is “Inspiring Excellence, Transforming Lives”. The theme aptly describes the collaborative hard work we have done over the last several years to advance the excellence at CSUB and make a difference in the lives of our students, their families, our community, and region. Thank you for your commitment and continued service. Enjoy the remainder of the summer. I look forward to seeing you during University Week and to another outstanding academic year at CSUB.
