Alumnae Au Courant March 2016 Alumnae Profile: Jenn Bensen H '15 and Tory Bensen '10 Jenn Bensen H '15 began working for Sacred Heart in 1995 and is currently the Upper School Academic Dean and Network Exchange Coordinator. Her daughter, Tory Bensen '10, entered Pre-K in the fall of 1996 and graduated in 2010. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 2014. What does being an Alumna of Sacred Heart mean to you? Jenn: I was truly humbled last fall to be recognized as honorary alum. I admire the RSCJ’s who have been models of such strength, faith and character at Sacred Heart. To be welcomed into such an impressive group is something I cherish. Whenever I wear my Sacred Heart ring, I feel pride, that I belong to a group of extraordinary women, and one of those women is my daughter. Tory: Being an alumna of Sacred Heart means being part of an incredible network of likeminded women throughout the world. My time at Sacred Heart was formative and key to my personal development as a student and as a global citizen. Perhaps most importantly, my time at Sacred Heart (and as an alum) has given me a lifelong group of friends.
