We first started making bikes nearly 40 years ago because we wanted to give BMX riders control of their sports destiny. We didn’t just want to make bikes that helped riders go faster, further, and higher then they’d ever gone before. We wanted to make bikes that inspired. Bikes that could, instead of couldn’t. Bikes that gave confidence, instead of took it. Above all, we wanted to make bikes riders could trust when they were putting it all on the line. The riders who inspired us to adopt this philosophy…rode BMX. Nearly 40 years later, we continue to be inspired by BMX riders across the Globe. And as long as they remain committed to the progression of their sport…so will we.

To do both, and then immediately win a World-Cup, a Pro National Championship, and earn a top 5 World Ranking is almost impossible, if not inconceivable…yet it’s exactly what GT Team Rider Corben Sharrah accomplished this season…all before turning 20. Joris Daudet BMX Race It’s hard enough to win a single European BMX championship race, let alone strong together a string of consecutive victories. Yet this is exactly what GT Team Rider Joris Daudet managed to do in 2011, with a record-setting 12 consecutive European Cup victories.

If you’re not familiar with Rob, his riding style, or the risks he’s willing to take to push the progression of street riding, check out the intro to Demolition’s Last Chance video. That, and his closing part…pretty much says it all. First recognized for his parts in 5050’s That’s It and Range of Motion, Rob’s all-or-nothing style has transcended video parts, and has found him holding down invites to events like the X-Games or Nike’s Chosen Crew. And he’s one of the nicest, most stoked guys we’ve ever met to-boot. Stoked to have you on the team, Rob.
