historical v Take a hike. Bring a bike. Dive right in. meet me at the mac.

Welcome to Philip S. Miller Park – home of the MAC! It’s the Town's largest regional park ever and unlike anything else in Castle Rock. Among its many features, the park hosts a variety of new activities for residents and visitors alike. The 8 miles of concrete and natural-surface trails wind through the park's many peaks and valleys, and a 200-step challenge staircase provides an intense workout, and an amazing view from the top. There’s even an outdoor lighted synthetic-turf field. The park’s crowning feature is the new Miller Activity Complex, or the MAC. The new activity center houses full-sized and half-sized synthetic-turf fields, drop-down batting cages, an 18-hole golf simulator, a trampoline area, children’s climbing structure, party rooms, and an indoor lap and leisure pool. This guide outlines information for the classes available within the MAC. Please keep in mind, there are classes offered at both the MAC and the Recreation Center. So, check out everything the MAC and Philip S. Miller Park has to offer. Join the AeroFit Trampoline Fitness class, organize an indoor kickball team, or enroll your child in a Mighty Mites gymnastics class. Take your family, or meet a friend at the MAC – it truly has something for everyone. And this is just the beginning. Future phases are on the horizon. Keep an eye on CRgov.com/PSMPark for more information.

explore philip s. miller park trails

This trail network consists of single-track trails divided into four different, but interconnected, loops with paved, accessible segments in the active park area near the Miller Activity Complex. The trails explore all the valleys, knolls and high points of this 270-acre site. A unique feature on the site is the 200-step Challenge Hill staircase similar to the Manitou Springs Incline. The trails and Challenge Hill are free and open to the public. Bikes are not recommended on the Challenge Hill staircase. This is an active regional park that will soon include a zip-line course and Adventure Playground area. Trail users should be aware of all park users and use caution on the trails and in the parking lots. Parking is available in the park and the main parking lot at the Miller Activity Complex. There are additional trail access points on Plum Creek Parkway and Wolfensberger Road (future). In the near future, the trails will also connect to Ridgeline Open Space and the Stewart Trail network to the west; the Ridgeline Trailhead parking lot is located on Coachline Road. The trail system is available for adoption through the POST Partners volunteer program. Call 303-814-7456 or email postpartners@CRgov.com for details. Trail length:

Roc sports and fitness training – reach, overcome, conquer The goal of this program is to develop and elevate the total athlete – physically, mentally and spiritually – to reach his or her full potential! This is done through developing the entire body with the optimum strength and speed needed to excel at sports and physical training. Mentally, we instill the work ethic, confidence and structure to succeed. Spiritually, we guide athletes in the character and principles needed to be their best. Through our functional training program, we will teach athletes of every sport to reach their goals, overcome obstacles and reach their full potential. The trainers for this program are both ex Texas A&M football standouts and NFL players, Quentin Coryatt and Derrick Fraizer. Since their retirement in 2000, both Coryatt and Frazier have coached and trained athletes in Texas and across the country. They've helped hundreds of youths reach their goals to play college sports and beyond, and have just recently relocated to Castle Rock. Group sessions: Unlimited sessions per week:
