Admissions Requirements High school applicants must meet the following minimum requirements: •

Minimum average of 70% on five successfully completed Grade 12 academic courses including Grade 12 academic English (or French for applicants from Francophone schools) and any Math or Science courses required for your desired degree program.

Each semester, Crandall University welcomes transfer students to our campus. Here, you will experience small class sizes and professors who are engaged in student learning, making us an excellent choice for the completion of your university studies. Our admission process will provide you with timely responses and transfer credit evaluations.
International Baccalaureate (IB) /Advanced Placement (AP)
Mature Students
Crandall University grants university credit to students who have demonstrated exceptional ability within either the Advanced Placement program or the International Baccalaureate program. Students involved in either of these programs, who have received scores of four or five on Advanced Placement Examinations, or scores of five, six, or seven on the International Baccalaureate Examinations, may request an assessment for university credit up to a maximum of 30 credit hours. Applicants who are at least 21 years of age and have been out of school for two or more years may be considered for admittance into a BA, BA&Sc, BBA, or BSc program even though they may not meet the stated admission requirements. Mature students may be required to submit transcripts and a letter of intent with their completed application. Adults of all ages are encouraged to consider studying either part time or full time at Crandall University.
Early Admission Students who have achieved an overall average of 80% or above in Grade 11 can apply for early admission. Your application will be considered based on your Grade 11 final grades and anticipated Grade 12 courses. You must include a list of your Grade 11 courses and final grades, and a list of planned Grade 12 courses.

Writing & Student Success Services Reading and writing form community. When we read and write, we’re connecting with other readers and writers as we engage with ideas and analyze issues. It’s an exciting and dynamic process, and sometimes you’ll need help along the way. That’s why Crandall University’s Writing and Student Success Services (WSSS) helps students of various strengths and abilities to achieve their academic goals. Writing Centre Tutors are available to help you plan, build and polish your essays to help you improve your writing skills and increase your confidence. You can schedule an appointment with a trained tutor who will mentor you in the writing process for ongoing development. If you find yourself staring at a blank page, tutors can help you brainstorm, then outline, draft, and revise to create a quality academic essay or report. Committed to academic integrity, tutors can also help you to use secondary sources in proper APA, Chicago, and MLA formats, a necessary part of belonging to an academic community. Our Student Success Centre provides learning accommodations for students diagnosed with a learning disability as well as academic support for all students who are struggling with a particular subject or need temporary learning accommodations. Faculty-recommended tutors are available to help, so if you are struggling with a particular concept or a step in a process, schedule an appointment with a tutor to help you stay on track. If you ever need academic support, please visit Crandall’s Writing and Student Success Services. We’re part of your academic community! 16
On-campus Counselling Services As you adjust to university life, it is important to stay on top of your mental health and make sure that you’re working to be the healthiest version of you. While you do so, our on-campus counsellor is here to help. You can schedule individual counselling appointments or group sessions, and access mental health related resources to help you be your best you while you navigate life’s various ups and downs.
Mentorship At Crandall, we strongly believe in the power of mentoring relationships with staff, faculty, and your fellow students. Due to this, we offer weekly mentoring groups where you can meet and chat with staff and faculty on a less formal basis, and interact with students from other programs that you may not typically get to meet! Faculty advisors are also made available for you to discuss courses, future career paths, and more. They are more than happy to provide support and answer any questions that you may have during your time in university.
