TOM SABIN MEMORIAL RIDE COVENTRY TO MUCH WENLOCK

Experienced cyclists why not take part in a 92 mile ride from Coventry to Much Wenlock in Shropshire, the birth-place of the Modern Olympics, to celebrate the career of Tom Sabin the Coventry born cyclist who won the first Olympic cycle races in 1876. The run starts at Millennium Place outside Coventry Transport Museum at 9am on Saturday June 5th, with a shorter return ride finishing at the Museum on Sunday June 6th. The Ride takes in many of Shropshire’s beauty spots including the formidable Clee Hill.
