HEART OF GOLD BAND This musical super group features the finest musicians from the Morris County. Led by Joe Bilotti, a guitarist and music professor at CCM. Additional members include local legends Joan Bujacich, Joe Howell, John Hummel and Kathy Knittel. Relax outside in our beautiful amphitheater listening to popular classic rock including music by Steely Dan, Neil Young, Joni Mitchell, David Bowie, Yes, Peter Frampton and Led Zeppelin. A delightful and uplifting tale of a young woman’s triumph over heartache and secrets.

Set in the backdrop of the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina, this musical is based on the story of the “Iron Mountain Baby.” The musical score is written by Steve Martin and Edie Brickell and is inspired by their Grammy Award ® winning blue grass album “Love has Come for You.”

FESTIVAL OF THE AMERICAS April 19

Sunday, Noon- 4 p.m. CCM Campus – Parking in Lot # 6 Come experience artists representing the cultural diversity of the local community. This festival will include entertaining and educational performances celebrating art, dance, music, and dramatic performance in Spanish. Snacks and refreshments will be served as you wander through campus enjoying family activities, an art exhibition in CCM’s gallery, a mariachi band, a Spanish guitar trio, salsa dance lessons, a one act play, a Latin Dance Team exhibition, and more, culminating with a performance byTropyBand. This is a free public event. Presented in collaboration with: The CCM Departments of Languages and ESL; Music, Performing Arts and Music Technologies, Special Events and Campus Life
