As Contact’s new Artistic Director, I’m really excited to welcome you to our Autumn 2013 programme. Based on Manchester’s vibrant Oxford Road corridor, Contact is a dynamic professional theatre that combines performance spaces, digital facilities, exhibition spaces and a great café bar. Our activity takes place in our building, in virtual spaces, and in surprising places across the city and beyond. Contact is internationally renowned for placing young people at the heart of everything we do – from programming to marketing to technical delivery. It’s a place where young people’s ideas are valued and their creativity is fired, nurturing the next generation of leaders and creative professionals in our communities.

We deliver creative projects, training for staff, interactive performances and seminars for businesses, schools, local authorities and other organisations; with a particular focus around, and engaging directly with, young people.

Our building is available to hire for conferences, festivals, showcases, parties, meetings and more. Talented staff and excellent in-house catering help make our unique spaces the perfect venue for your event.
