TWINBUS TRAVEL AGENCY E-TWINNING PROJECT 7/4/2013


Poland- visited Cyprus Day 1 - preparation Searching for tickets, destination. We used the Internet. Found prices and decided that we are going to Limassol.


Day 2 Packing suitcases. Going to the airport.


Day 3 - 5. Going to the beach. Visiting the castle, aquaparks.

Sending pictures to families.

Day 6. Packing suitcases.


Going to the airport, flying back to Poland.


Portugal visited Greece Day 1 We On the internet we visit Greece. So far from Portugal!

Day 2

We chose the place to visit - Santorini


Day 3

We researched images of Santorini


Day 4

Bags packed, we went to Santorini. Get to work! We will organize an exhibition in Portugal.


Day 5

Visit the exhibition! Young painters from Portugal,



SPAIN VISITED BRASOV (ROMANIA) 1st Day We located on the map where Brasov is, booked the plane tickets and prepared the passports and the luggage

We are ready to fly.... HOORAY!!


2nd Day We are on the plane flying to Bucharest.

We arrived in Bucharest and went for a walk around the city. We visited the Parliament.

Later we went to a restaurant to have ciorba de perisoare and sarmale and to the hotel. Tomorrow to Brasov.


3rd Day We rent a car and went to Brasov After 2 hours and a half we arrived in Brasov. We visited the main square and the Black Church.

We stayed at the Coroana hotel where we had a delicious dinner.


4th Day We left Brasov early in the morning to go to Bran Castle. It’s Dracula’s castle. We were a “frightened”.But everything went very well. The castle was beautiful and we met our Romanian friends there.

5th day The holidays are finished. We go back to Bucharest to take the plane back home. What a wonderful trip!


Our opinions of the trip:


4 A Graders from Brasov, Romania visited Penafiel, Portugal First day: Making the travel list: What do we have to pack? Check which places to visit: Where are we going? Calculate the costs: How much do we need?

Second day: We took a car...It was a long journey but very interesting too...16 hours and 3 countries. We spent one night in Venice, Italy. Such a nice place!

Third day: On the road again...18 hours travelling and ...we arrived in the evening...We are very tired but very happy :) We are going to bed because we want to be ready for the Portuguese adventure tomorrow...

Fourth day We are ready for exploring Penafiel! ‌........................................................................................................................................................... Firstly we visited the gardens and we were impressed how different are the plants and trees from the ones from our country.


Then we went to the museum and we admired the old and the modern architecture while visiting the city

Fifth day We visited our friends in their school..It was so nice to meet them flesh and blood:) We played, talked and made plans together...

Sixth day We were exploring the city...We saw the Roman ruins and monuments...We are impressed because we have the same ancestors: The Romans...

We enjoyed the fado music, the food and we were very welcomed...


Seventh day We are leaving back home...Thank you, dear Portuguese friends for your hospitality! We are waiting for you in our city, Brasov !


STUDENTS FROM TECUCI VISITING

PORTUGALETE, SPAIN February We asked for some information from our Spanish friends and we searched on the internet what to visit and how we could get there.


We decided where to stay during our trip.

Here you are our journal for our trip.


Journal of travel (1st grade students School Elena Doamna, Tecuci) Day 1 We left Tecuci at 7:30. We go by car to Bucharest to take a flight to Bilbao (the nearest airport to Portugalete)- 13.00 We arrived at 18.30 in Bilbao. We rented a car to reach Portugalete (It is about 20 km far from Bilbao). Accommodation: pension Bellamar, in Portugalete.


Day 2 We visited Portugalete: Puente Colgante, Salazar Tower, School CEP VIRGEN de la GUIA (where our friends study) .


Day 3 We visited Bilbao. We chose to see the city and the Guggenheim Musem.

Day 4 We left Portugalete (at 9:30) for Bilbao and from here back to Bucharest. We took the flight at 11:50. We arrived in Bucharest at 17:35. Our parents drove us home and we arrived in Tecuci at 22:30.


We are happy. We did a great job!


CYPRUS - VISITED ROMANIA PREPARATIONS *We searched the internet and we found information about Romania *We also collected information from our twin-partners from Tecucci *We booked the tickets and made reservations to the hotels *We organized our trip


1ST DAY We met at HERMES airport in Larnaca.We were very excited!

We checked in and passed the passport control. Some of us used their ID because we are traveling in an EU Country .

We flew with Blue Air. Our flight was very comfortable. We arrived at Bucharest after 2h and 25 min.


Geia sou.... Romania!

We stayed at “Z Executive Hotel”, an old and very beautiful building. It was very clean and comfortable.


2ND DAY After breakfast we started our trip to Neamt Country. We were traveling for about 6h.This was our bus .It was very big and comfortable.


We visited Neamt and Agapia Monastery. They are historical Orthodox Monasteries full of byzantine treasures!

We also visited Neamt Fortress. It is a very big medieval fortress located near Târgu Neamţ.The view was great from up there.


We spent the night to Piatra Neamt City. Our hotel “Central Plaza” was fantastic!

“ We want to stay here for ever!!”


3RD DAY We traveled by train in Piatra Neamt. The train was as fast as a flash. It was an unforgettable experience! We don’t have trains in Cyprus.

We visited the old town. The 15th century Stephen’s Tower, the Medieval Square and the Cucuteni Culture Museum were very impressive.


We arrived at Tecuci in the late afternoon.We stayed at ParK Hotel. The hotel was small and beautiful.


4TH DAY It was an exciting day! We visited our e-twinning partners in their school. We had a wonderful time. We played together and become friends. They taught us some Romanian words. Bună, Buna dimineaţa,vă mulţumesc...Ne place Romania!!

The waterfall park is a wonderful park. We played a lot of games and we took many photographs. Late in the afternoon we started our return trip to Bucharest.


5TH DAY Bucharest is a very beautiful city. Its Known as “Little Paris� because it has very beautiful buildings.

Here we are at the Parliament Palace. Is the biggest building in Europe!


The Arch of Triumph is a famous building. It looks like the Arch of Triumph in Paris!

There are many beautiful places and buildings!


We had a really wonderful time in Romania. We visited interesting places and we made new friends. we hope that we will meet each other here in Cyprus in order to show them our places, monuments and parks.

Good Bye! La revedere! Σας περιμένουμε στην Κύπρο!


GREECE VISITED KRAKOW, POLAND PREPARATION DAY We spotted for Krakow on Google maps, booked our tickets and hotel rooms and prepared our suitcases. Monica, a student of Polish origin, was our guide.


DAY 1 May 5 We arrived at Eleftherios Venizelos Athens airport at 06:30, checked in, had some breakfast in the airport cafe and boarded.

The journey lasted more than 9 hours as we travelled via Munich. We arrived in Krakow at 16:25 local time. Some taxis were waiting for us at the airport to take us to Hotel Matlanski.



After checking in at the hotel,

we decided to have dinner at Chłopskie Jadło, a traditional Polish restaurant.

The salad, the soup and the traditional polish stuffed dumplings were very tasteful. Yummy!!


Later we had a walk in the Rynek Glowny, the central square and also visited St Mary's Church.Rynek Główny is Europe’s largest medieval square.


DAY 2 Breakfast at the hotel and city sightseeing.

We visited the hilltop Wawel Castle which was the seat of Polish kings for over 500 years.


The Barbican was the main city gate.

Wieliczka Salt Mine is listed in the World Heritage.


DAY 3 Today we are visiting more sights of the beautiful city of Krakow.

The Krakow Mounds: They were erected by the Cracovians in commemoration of the Polish national leader Tadeusz Kościuszko.


Collegium Maius is the oldest University building in Krakow.

The Town Hall leaning tower.


Time for a tennis game at SKS Nadwislan Tennis Club and... watching a play at Bagatela Theatre, the oldest theatre in Poland.


Visiting the town centre on a horse carriage and buying some souvenirs.


DAY 4 Departure day. Krakow Airport May 8, 15:20
