Concordia Connection serves high school graduates who had an IEP or 504 at the high school level, as well as students identified with an appropriate diagnosis at the college level. Diagnoses can include attention deficit disorder, Asperger’s syndrome, learning disabilities, and anxiety disorders.

Concordia Connection is a mainstream program: students are fully integrated into Concordia’s courses, programs, degree requirements and co-curricular activities. As in a high school Resource Room, individualized academic, social and emotional supports are delivered throughout the college journey.
How It Works
Each semester in addition to their regular classes, students in the Connection program take a one-credit independent study, where they develop an individualized learning strategy. Connection staff serve as academic advisors and coordinate an array of support services138 and testing modifications.4Unlimited YEARS OF 18 ACADEMIC tutoring is available within regular daytime and evening hours. Admission Requirements The Concordia Connection program is for high school graduates eligible for admission to Concordia College. Once admitted to the College, students will be asked to provide: • C ertified diagnosis of learning disability, which minimally includes a WAIS-R (Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale) profile with subtest scores taken within the past year, and the most recent IEP FELLOWS PRO G R A Mwho has • Recommendation from a learning specialist worked closely with the applicant • Guidance counselor’s recommendation • Personal interview with the program director

Students enrolled in the Concordia Connection program pay the regular Concordia College tuition and applicable room and board fees, plus an additional $6,600 per year. This supplementary fee includes one college credit. Students in the program may be eligible for financial aid.
