One recent project – the “Stuff the Bus” campaign – was especially successful. “Stuff the Bus” helped children in southern West Virginia have the school supplies they needed to start the new school year. Pam Wallace, administrative assistant/student at Concord’s Beckley campus, coordinated the activity. “Our goal is to fill the bus with as many supplies as possible,” she said as a call to action during the campaign. “Our children need to know that they are supported and that they can have all the tools they need to succeed in education.
