Reply » #1 Oct 9, 2007 Helmets save lives, especially for those of us who are not as skilled as those who don’t wear them. It has nothing to do with ‘freedom of choice’. It’s not a ‘right’; it’s a ‘privilege’ to ride a motorcycle. Reply » #2 Oct 11, 2007 Because a driver’s license is a privilege, not a right. Because if someone is in an accident with you, they shouldn’t needlessly have your death on their conscious (and criminal record). Because it is not fair to the rest of us who have to deal with the traffic backups that come with fatal accident investigations.
