A First-Choice Institution

Excellence, engagement, creativity, sustainability, inclusion and servant leadership serve as CSU’s core values to achieve student success. Staying focused on these six university cornerstones, CSU has made great strides to become a first-choice institution of challenging programs, engaging faculty and a vibrant, globally connected campus culture. Led by the university’s fifth president, Chris Markwood, CSU continues to strengthen its community partnerships to create opportunities for students to become change agents home and abroad. Since Columbus is also named the nation’s first “Servant Leadership City,” CSU’s Servant Leadership Program is the model for universities across the nation to apply leadership skills inside and outside the classroom.
