career in Cape Cod, Massachusetts. When we ventured to Denver, I worked for Richmond Homes in New Homes sales. In 2000 we started our own company, Pinette Realty Group LLC specializing in Highlands Ranch and Douglas County. What is your specialty and what does that mean for the people you work with? We focus on helping families prepare their homes for sale. In addition to the full service marketing and professional representation, we provide our seller’s with complimentary staging, housecleaning, handyman services and much more depending on the client’s custom needs. Our goal is to take the stress out of the home selling process.

What is the most challenging part of what you do? My biggest challenge is communicat communicating to sellers how crucial it is for them to detach from their home during the selling process. Many people are too emotionally attached dur during negotiations.

ney or walking on a beach with the sand between your toes, vacations are such a great time to reconnect with your family. So many places to see and each create such a special memory. What is one tip you have for someone looking to sell a house? Talk to a professional stager and a Realtor before beginning the process of selling your home. Take your time and do the preparation by decluttering and spring-cleaning — by far the best return on your investment. There are so many low cost fixups and tricks you can do before selling that will really make a difference in how your home is received by the market. What is one tip you have for someone looking to buy a house? Be prepared to act quickly and have your financing in order so you don’t lose out on a home you really love. Some neighborhoods and price ranges are experiencing multiple offers due to the lack of inventory. What is the most unusual thing you’ve encountered while working in Real Estate? When I represented homes for Fleet Bank in Cape Cod in the 90’s, I will never forget this one house on a golf course in New Seabury, Cape Cod. My husband and I keyed in to a lovely Villa days after foreclosure and it looked like the owners walked out in the middle of the night. It was fully furnished, beds made, immaculate and all personal belongings were still in the home. It was a little eerie and disheartening to see the homeowners lose such a treasure.
