Un Bien de Interés Cultural de Casabermeja Protected Heritage Assets of Casabermeja
El primitivo templo dedicado a Ntra. Sra. del Socorro ya existía en 1550 y fue el núcleo en torno al cual se desarrolló el pueblo, experimentando reformas en el siglo XVII y ampliaciones en el XVIII. El crucero se realizó en el primer tercio de esta centuria y en 1795 se construyó la nave de la epístola con sus interesantes camarines y la torre, integrada por cinco cuerpos cuadrangulares superpuestos con las esquinas achaflanadas, completando así la adscripción del templo al estilo barroco.
En 1863 fue restaurada por el arquitecto diocesano Manuel Rivera Valentín, recibiendo en 1990 una nueva restauración integral. Ha sido inscrita en el Catálogo General del Patrimonio Histórico Andaluz con la categoría de monumento, afectando la protección a un total de 56 bienes muebles entre los que destacan un par de retablos dieciochescos y el armario eucarístico, fechado en 1750 y decorado con pinturas y textos. En él se guardan las vistosas andas de madera tallada, pues la festividad del Corpus Christi es muy celebrada en la localidad.
En el 2009 fue inscrita en el Catálogo General del Patrimonio Histórico Andaluz La iglesia posee planta de cruz latina y tres naves, cubierta la central con bóveda de cañón con lunetos y cúpula semiesférica sobre el crucero. En el exterior destaca la sobria portada de piedra con arco de medio punto sobre pilastras y los paramentos que alternan hiladas de ladrillo visto y encalado en blanco.

The church has a latin cross plan and three naves, covered the central barrel vault with lunettes and hemispherical dome over the crossing. On the outside highlights the restrained stone front with a semicircular arch on pilasters and walls alternating lines of brick and whitewashed.
