The Colgate Bookstore is Central New York’s largest downtown independent bookstore. Nestled in the heart of Hamilton, we are owned and operated by Colgate University. Every dollar spent at the bookstore supports Colgate teaching, learning, athletics, arts, clubs, and other extra-curricular activities. The bookstore moved into its downtown home in August of 2002. Our experienced sales and service department personnel can perform most diagnostics and repairs right at the bookstore. If your computer can’t be repaired in-house, we’ll work with our vendor partners to expedite the repair for you.

Our prices are updated regularly throughout the year and include your academic discount. If you make a comparison, be sure to include items that we bundle in our packages for your convenience and protection.
3. Loaner Laptop Program
While your computer is being repaired, you will have the option to request a loaner laptop so that you can continue to work uninterrupted. This can be especially helpful when time is of the essence: final exam week, midterm preparations, and other serious assignments.
4. Exceptional Customer Service

Computers purchased at the bookstore are protected for the length of your warranty by our repair and support service center. That means you can rest easy if you notice a problem with your computer.
You can choose to have your computer shipped to you or held for in-store pick up when you arrive in August. Computers that are in stock usually ship within three business days. Custom configurations can take up to three weeks to arrive from Apple before we are able to ship them to you. We encourage you to place an order by Friday, August 7. This will give us time to prepare your computer for the first day of classes, or work with you to find a solution in case there are backorders at Apple.
From our convenient location in the heart of Hamilton, we’ll work with you to find solutions. We will make sure that you can keep working and enjoying your digital lifestyle while our experienced technician or a partner vendor repairs your computer.
