Renowned interior designer, Bunny Williams, has always wanted to live near the country, even though she lives in Manhattan during the week. Her love for gardening came from her early upbringing in rural Charlottesville, Virginia. As a designer, Williams’ genius is to create comfortable, Bunny Williams welcoming spaces that invite you to relax and enjoy the good life. Her superbly trained eye makes the eclectic mix of furnishings and accessories she places in each room seem effortless. The lessons she’s learned on the interior are inseparably woven into her gardening style – issues of scale, texture, color and use of space – present themselves in any garden or outdoor space. Williams will share tips from her gardens in northwest Connecticut and in the Dominican Republic, images of gardens around the world that have inspired her work, and speak about her new outdoor collection for Century Furniture. Reception to follow at Century Furniture, Suite B-228 Please join us directly following the presentation in the Century Furniture Showroom, Suite B-228, for a book signing with Bunny Williams. THURSDAY MORNING KEYNOTE 10:30AM, Atrium C

“A room should start a conversation before an actual word is spoken”...such is the philosophy of Barry Darr Dixon. The quickest way to start that conversation is the color and pattern of fabrics in a space. They’re the words and sentences that become the story of a home. Join us in Atrium A for raffles, desserts and specialty coffee. Book signing of Barry Dixon’s Inspirations immediately following presentation.

Selecting an Interior Designer from the Architect and Developer’s Perspective

Inspired by acres of lush Virginia countryside, Barry Dixon is a designer known for a distinct aesthetic that blends Western styles with global influences from a childhood spent abroad in India, Pakistan, Korea, New Caledonia and South Africa. With projects spanning the world, Dixon imagines interiors Barry Dixon that infuse artifacts and antiques with present-day motifs all preserving the history and personality of the home’s owners and their treasures. His exclusive collections include upholstery for Tomlinson/ErwinLambeth; furniture, lighting and accessories for Arteriors; showrooms and products for Fortuny; custom furniture and lighting for Avrett; fabrics and trims for Vervain; and a color palette called The Naturals Color Collection by Barry Dixon for C2 Paint. Dixon’s work is featured in Barry Dixon Interiors and Farrow & Ball: The Art of Color, both by Brian Coleman, author, and Edward Addeo, photographer, and Barry Dixon Inspirations and Fortuny Interiors, both by Brian Coleman, author and Erik Kvalsvik, photographer. Dixon lives and works in his 1907 Edwardian estate, Elway Hall, located on over 300 acres of farmland in Fauquier County, Virginia.
