JOB DESCRIPTION

Customer Liaison The Customer Liaison (CL) reports jointly to the Director of Marketing & Communications and the Headmaster. The CL is expected to know the school's procedures, names and roles of teachers and staff and be well versed in the school's various programs. He/She must also know which resources are available to both the school and the community. Furthermore, the CL needs to maintain a high level of confidentiality when dealing with the School, families, parents and the rest of the community. The CL needs to be friendly, diplomatic and able to maintain a cool head in difficult situations. Most importantly, the CL should always present a positive image of the School to the community. Responsibilities: The Customer Liaison works as a link between the school and the parents. With a good understanding of school systems, the CL helps assist and expedite the needs and requests of the families of the school. Job responsibilities include translating documents; translating in person between customers and the school representatives; helping with coordination of new student interviews and testing; answering parent questions; directing any parent concerns to the correct person and being a point of contact that all parents know is available to them to direct and follow up with inquiries. The CL should have a good understanding of all school communication systems and work to train the parents of the community. The CL is responsible for attending both school and community meetings. Job duties will also include any ad hoc duties assigned by the Director of Marketing & Communications or Headmaster. Working days: the same number of days that students attend the School i.e. 183 days per annum; Payment: The CL will be paid a Gross amount per day for each day actually worked. This is a casual daily rate. No other benefits will be applied. Abilities and skills: The CL will be able to communicate in more than one language. Languages must include English and Korean and preferably more. Qualifications. A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is essential. Fluency in English and Korean and preferably at least one other language.
