Voting has already commenced for the next location, so come and catch it whilst it’s here! Also at Hamilton House this month: Jonathan Kay’s ‘Out of the Audience’ workshop will be teaching participants what it means to Fool, page 9. Marvel at the latest collections at this years Coexist Fashion Show, page 8. Commemorate Transgender Day of Rememberence with a series of events from Trans/Forms, page 9. He paints on canvas, board and found objects, makes prints, pen-and-ink pieces, sculptural one-offs and even music with the ramshackle experimental outfit “I Am The Mighty Jungulator”. His paintings are currently influenced by Op Art, non-figurative folk art, symmetry and asymmetry, circuitboards and wiring diagrams, and clustering activity at a microscopic level, among other things. You can see more of David’s work in The Canteen from 1st-31st Nov. abnego.com | iamthemightyjungulator.bandcamp.com

Dream Yoga – How To Be Good In Bed

The Journey Back To Nature And Soul

7th Nov, 10am-4pm, £18 Concs/£25

5th Nov, 6.15 – 8pm, Free

The practice of dream yoga allows access to ‘lucid dreams’ in which we are aware we are dreaming – and are thus able to perform ‘miracles’. The practice of clear light allows us to retain awareness through the process of falling asleep without dreams. This liberates us from addiction to familiar form and enables us to experience pure awareness without sensory or conceptual content. The practice of illusory wakefulness connects powerfully with dream yoga through sitting meditation in waking consciousness, thus revealing the ‘one taste’ or essential sameness of experience in both waking and sleeping. Together, these practices free us from conceptual limitations of time and space, and allow us to experience the simultaneous continuity and discontinuity of experience.

Rhonda and Michael, Authors of ‘Pocket Full of Soul’ offer this talk to explore how we can live into our core essence, into our deepest purpose and into what we might call soul. We will offer insights, poetry, story and creative methods that will deepen our connection to nature and show how this relationship serves as a guide in our life journey.
