The club is involved in a variety of activities including monthly meetings with guest speakers and community and campus service projects. The objective of the club is to provide information that will promote the sciences and aid students in choosing a science based career. Active Alpha Omega members with at least a 3.0 GPA may be inducted into Beta Beta Beta National Honor Society in the spring semester. The ACDT Club has fund raisers to help purchase equipment for the Co-Lin Child Development Center. The club also helps sponsor the annual St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital Trike-A-Thon. During the Week of the Young Child, the club provides hand-outs on seat belt safety awareness, developmentally appropriate activities, and articles on stages of development to our children’s parents.
