MENTORSHIP

Our classes are taught by professors at the leading edge of their disciplines with a passion for teaching.

Faculty-student mentorship is at the heart of the academic experience. Our best faculty members teach first-year students, as well as upperclassmen, and we don’t have teaching assistants on campus.

Here you can build relationships with your professors that extend beyond the classroom as you work on research projects and conference presentations, publish materials, and study abroad. Your learning and success, at Christopher Newport University and beyond, is their priority.

SCHOLARSHIPS

High-achieving students have the opportunity to compete for our signature academic scholarships:

You can bring your visions to life in the studios of the new Mary M. Torggler Fine Arts Center or on the stage at the spectacular Ferguson Center for the Arts.

The Paul and Rosemary Trible Library provides an unbeatable atmosphere for research, learning and scholarly interaction. Einstein’s Café is on the ground floor and is a hub of campus activity.
