Key Club International MAJOR EMPHASIS? Key Club International plays a vital role in serving the children of the world. In 1946, the organization built a program to unite the energies of Key Clubs around the world in one mission. This program is still followed today through the Major Emphasis: Children: Their Future, Our Focus. By working with Key Club International's partner organizations, Key Clubs serve children by aiding other organizations committed to serving children. Key Club International celebrates its three partnerships: UNICEF, March of Dimes, and Children's Miracle Network.

6 Preferred Charities? Key Club International (KCI) has 4 beneficial service partners: Children's Miracle Network, UNICEF, March of Dimes, and the Thirst Project. FREQUENTLY ASK WHAT IS CONCLAVE? Conclave is where your division gathers to elect the next lieutenant governor and endorse any member running for a district executive or international position! Here you will hear their speech and have the opportunity to ask caucus questions so you could further understand who your next leader is!

WHO GETS TO VOTE? SHOULD I ATTEND? The maximum of two delegates from each club gets to vote for the next lieutenant governor! Even if you aren’t a delegate, you should still attend conclave to see who your next leader is! It is required that at least 50% of the division’s club is present to have a valid conclave!

BUZZ BUZZ CNH! On the day of conclave I felt confident and calm because I knew that I did everything I could to prepare. However, when I went on stage I completely blanked after my first couple sentences and spoke from the heart to my members about my platform. My biggest advice to future candidates is to prepare yourself for the unexpected and know your platform like the back of your hand. Good Luck!

Jamie Stukas, Division 8 LTG

KED QUESTIONS WHAT IS A LITERATURE? A literature is the ONLY campaign material candidates can have. It usually contains their acronym, goals, and a little more about themselves! Candidates should NOT be campaigning outside of conclave!

WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE? Dress code is business casual for attendees and business formal for candidate!

WHERE CAN I FIND MORE INFO ABOUT ELECTIONS? You can find it on our CNH Cyberkey! Resources -> Policy & Elections

What’s poppin’ busy bees! Before conclave, I’ve prepared my literature, wrote my speech, and memorized it. On the day of, I was so nervous but I saw so many members I knew which calmed me down. I spoke confidently and genuinely during caucus because I was I was prepared. As a past delegate, I would advise delegates to listen carefully and choose the best candidate to lead YOUR division.

Jade Le, Division 2 North LTG
