FY 2010-2012 To reduce the contribution of transportation emissions, the university began the review of flex-time policies to accommodate alternative work arrangements for staff, as feasible, without impacting campus operations or student services. This evaluation continues. Campus employees, as well as suppliers, have been educated about the impact of idling vehicles on CO2 emissions. FM continues to evaluate expansion of the biomass co-generation power facility to reduce our dependence on power purchased from fossil fuel sources.
