Dear Friends,
JYN is unique in the fact that our reach engages over 500 Youth weekly, and over the course of the year, 2500+ Youth— and growing!
As noted by the Ontario Government’s Youth Strategy Ideas Forum in their correspondence to us: “We do not have many organizations in Vaughan that work with youth, and you have by far the greatest reach…” – Julia Gersh, Vaughan Business Enterprise Center. Moreover, we are assisting thousands of underprivileged families through subsidies and scholarships and providing assistance for thousands more through our Chesed programs.
JYN programs have a strict focus on the youth demographic, and as such, we do not offer family memberships nor do we have the opportunity to engage parents and working adults in donation opportunities on a regular basis, as do many other organizations.
JYN Chai Club is therefore a means through which parents, supporters and friends of JYN can participate in and demonstrate support for our programs. It is also an opportunity for them to grow with us and to be a part of the Jewish Youth Network.
Please consider becoming a JYN partner today by joining our Chai Club. It’s simple. Pick a dollar amount in multiples of $18 ($18, $36, $54, $72, etc.) and we will process your contribution every month.
Eighteen is the numeric value of the word CHAI, meaning life in Hebrew. As a member of the Chai Club, your donation will continue to sustain our programs and allow us to continue serving our community and youth. All Partners will be gratefully acknowledged for their dedication to the Jewish Youth Network.
WHY JOIN?
The Jewish Youth Network’s Chai Club is designed to fund and sustain our ongoing Youth activities and programs. Members take ownership of JYN by knowing that your contribution indeed not only maintains JYN’s home, but also enables the ongoing implementation of all our social, educational, and community-based programs. Simply put, YOU allow us to do what we do!
HOW MUCH?
Partners set their own level of giving, in multiples of 18, and the amount is paid on a monthly basis.
ARE MEMBERS RECOGNIZED?
A list of our Chai Club members is prominently displayed in our Youth Centre and recognized in our widely-distributed Annual Gala Journal.
CAN I SPECIFY ALLOCATION?
Yes. You’re welcome to dedicate your partnership to the specific program(s) of your choice. It’s all up to YOU!
CAN I CHANGE THE AMOUNT?
Sure. Choose an amount today and you can always increase or decrease the monthly commitment.
