Improved in nearly every statistical category, and gave Tigers a good option to anchor the defense and as a high-post passing option with good range to 15 feet. Terrific student in nursing, completed clinicals during junior season while also playing basketball and attending class. In 2010-11 (junior): • Named to Academic All-ACC Team • Averaged 6.0 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 1.5 blocks per game • Started 14 games averaging 23.2 minutes per contest, both career highs • Registered career bests in minutes, games played, games started, points, rebounds, assists, blocks and steals • Her 45 blocks (1.5 per game) ranked in the top 5 of the ACC, and she finished the season with 91 career rejections, ranking ninth in school history • Led the Tigers with a .453 shooting percentage • Registered an impressive 34 assists from the center spot and grabbed 63 offensive boards on the season • Registered first career double-double with 13 points and 12 boards against Virginia Tech • Scored in double-figures five times and blocked two or more shots in 12 games • Flirted with a triple-double (8 pts, 9 reb, 7 blk) against NC State in a road win • Averaged 11.0 points 8.3 rebounds and 1.7 blocks in three consecutive ACC games from 2/14 to 2/27.
