Aislinn is a Drug Free Residential Treatment Centre that believes in the priceless potential of young people. Our purpose is to provide quality treatment for persons between the ages of 15-21 years and to assist families by offering an Addiction Awareness Programme. We believe in a skilled professional team approach to individualised care, respecting dignity while fostering self-worth and supporting the emotional, mental, social, recreational and spiritual development of each individual. We serve one another by recognising each person’s unique gifts, quality of performance and their need for constant updating, support and personal growth. As a non profit-making organisation our success will be demonstrated through continuing care, financial integrity and community wellbeing. The Aislinn Centre is situated on a twelve-acre site on the banks of the River Nore in Ballyragget, County Kilkenny. Aislinn is a non-profit making quality drugfree residential treatment Centre for male and female adolescents (15 up to 21 years). The first of its kind for this age group in Ireland, the twelve-bedded unit offers a safe place for youth who are chemically dependent (alcohol and drugs). Our Programme consists of six weeks residential treatment, followed by two years Aftercare. Aislinn has built into its treatment Plan a Family Awareness Programme, which is carried through into the Aftercare and this assists the resident in the early stages of recovery.
