Boone Newspapers purchased the Central Alabama Independent Advertiser on Aug. 15, 1975. The Central Alabama Independent Advertiser evolved into The Independent Advertiser and eventually The Clanton Advertiser. We currently publish five times each week, from Tuesday-Saturday.
