The Clanton Performing Arts Center was host on January 17th to the 2014 Chamber Banquet as 300 attendees enjoyed a scrumptious meal, heard announcements of the Annual Chamber Awards and listened as Emily Kay Herring and her ensemble performed the “Songs of Patsy Cline”.

Ambassador of the Year Shirley Springer 2013 Ambassadors are critical to the success of the Chamber as they volunteer their time to support local businesses and act as the eyes and ears of the Chamber in Chilton County. Because of the important role they play, an Ambassador of the Year is named at the Annual Chamber Banquet. This provides opportunity to honor this group of volunteers and to recognize one of them for the valuable work they do. This year’s honoree is Shirley Springer who has worked timelessly in 2013 to help move the Chamber forward. We congratulate Shirley who is a team player and an asset to our community.
