Chamber Update... The Chilton County Chamber of Commerce and Board of Directors are saddened by the passing of long-time director, Mike Robertson. In his absence a new structure has been implemented that allows for more flexibility while offering greater services to its members and to the community. The Board's nominating committee recommended that instead of a new hire, the Board should contract with Janice Hull Consulting LLC through a period of time that could last until Jan. 31, 2015. Hull's primary business is Hull and Russell PC, and she has served as president of the Chamber's Board of Directors on three separate occasions, in 1994, 2002 and 2011.

The Chilton County Chamber of Commerce is located at 500 Fifth Ave. N. in Clanton.

Hull was a member of the Board of Directors, but resigned upon her appointment as a consultant. Her spot was filled by Connie Bainbridge, herself familiar with the Chamber from her time as its director prior to Robertson. The Chamber will continue the luncheons, business after hours, the Ambassador Program, Peach Jam and all other functions of the Chamber. The board believes that this structure will allow for a Chamber that can grow, compete and move forward successfully. The Chamber looks forward to continuing to serve the business people and community of Chilton County.

Though Hull will spend time at the Chamber office as needed, the primary Chamber contact remains Executive Assistant Brittani Ellison, who can be reached at 755-2400 or info@chiltonchamberonline.com.
