In the
Middle According to Kelly Martin, being a sophomore means getting to know many more people, no longer being a freshman, and being stuck in the middle of things. These second-year students are no longer freshmen, but they aren't classified as upperclassmen either. So what are they to do? This year sophomores let themselves be known through their participation in varsity sports and at academic functions such as the science fair and National Honor Society. Most of all, sophomores made it clear that "Hey, we will soon be juniors!"
