Salsa verde tamal Flavor: 2.6 Texture: 2.4 Taster Comments: “one dimensional”; “overwhelming spice”; “too dense”; “a bit dry”; “great flavor and spice” Notes: Corn-husk tamales. The masa tends to be drier later in the day. The verde sauce was very flavorful, but skimpy. However, the masa and chicken had good flavor. Several kinds of tamales are available, but tend to sell out toward the end of the day.
