Caregiver & Child Yoga

NEW! Move, breathe, stretch and ROAR! Our children’s classes are filled with fun songs, yoga games, and poses that cultivate creativity and encourage your child to learn self-regulation skills while having fun. Little ones learn tools to help them breathe out their fire when feeling mad or their minds feel chaotic, energize their bodies when they’re feeling tired, and release extra energy when they need to find some calm and focused time.

Family Yoga in the Park

NEW! Family yoga filled with fun songs, yoga games, and poses that boost creativity and encourage self-regulation skills while connecting with parents and caregivers. All are welcome!

Advanced Karate do

AGES: 6Y & UP INSTRUC TOR: LARRY WADFORD

This class is for yellow belt and higher students. Sparring and higher-level explanation of kata are taught in the additional 30 minutes of class. Be aware of your surroundings, avoid trouble, if you get into trouble – get out of it, if you can’t get out of trouble – get out of it anyway! Traditional Okinawan Karate-do, Wado Ki Kai (style) means “to learn from all things.” People of a higher experience level learn Karate in a friendly way. You are taught the importance of respect and self-discipline, challenging your body and mind. This is a comprehensive program that deals with “street” awareness, avoiding strangers, and self-defense. Classes are on an ongoing basis. You are welcome to sit in on class to see if it is a good fit.

Black Belt Karate do

AGES: 13Y & UP INSTRUC TOR: LARRY WADFORD

This class is for black belt students. High level kata and teaching are taught in these classes. Students are not required to attend all classes, but you need to inform the instructor of which class you will be attending. Be aware of your surroundings, avoid trouble, if you get into trouble – get out of it, if you can’t get out of trouble – get out of it anyway! Natural Play—Baby/Toddler

AGES: 6M -2.5Y

INSTRUCTOR: CHILD LIGHT NATURAL PLAY AND CRAFT STUDIO

NEW! A parent-child class offering natural free-play in developmentally appropriate space. Parents can observe their child build confidence and trust through self-initiated exploration as well as discuss parenting topics related to communication, attunement, healthy home rhythms, self-care, and mindful parenting techniques. Our time together includes a small seasonal circle time for songs and fingerplays. *Registration is for one adult and one child. Organic snack offered in Toddler class.

Martial Arts

Karate do

Students are taught the importance of respect and selfdiscipline, challenging their bodies and minds. This is a comprehensive program that deals with “street” awareness, avoiding strangers, and self-defense. You are welcome to sit in on class for a week to see if it is a good fit. Sensei Larry Wadford has trained and taught Karate for over 20 years.

Self Defense-Aiki Jujitsu

AGES: 8-12Y INSTRUC TOR: MEHRAN MOJTAHEDI

Jujitsu, “the art of gentleness”, is the traditional Japanese system of self-defense. Students develop confidence, coordination, agility, and balance while learning how to defeat a larger and stronger attacker by using that person’s own energy and strength against them. The program teaches practical self-defense (not fighting) through fun games, friendly competition, and discipline, as well as escaping, grappling, and throwing techniques from Judo and Jujitsu.
