A quiet resort with 2 small beaches that tends to attract a more discerning client seeking the quality 4 and 5 star hotels, the evening entertainment in the area is centred on the small exclusive bars and restaurants. Playa du Muro and Ca’n Picafort. Located in the north Playa du Muro has a long sandy beach and shallow waters which are ideal for those looking for a sunshine beach holiday. Ca’n Picafort is a small resort just along the coast.

Insurance

The company operating these flights is Flybe. On board catering will be a cold snack, and whilst tea/coffee and soft drinks are provided free of charge, alcoholic drinks will be charged for.
Travel Insurance is compulsory and full details are available from your travel consultant at the time of booking. Alternatively if you have your own insurance please provide the policy number and details. You may be asked to sign an insurance indemnity form.

Baggage Allowance The baggage allowance is limited to 20kg per person (except infants) and this includes such items as golf clubs. Due to the restrictions of Jersey/Guernsey airports the baggage allowance will be strictly adhered to.

Our Responsibility We have been diligent in the choice of our local in resort representative and the airline who will operate our programme, and confirm that they are reputable. However it must be appreciated that we neither own the aircraft, nor any other transportation, nor the accommodation at which you stay, our control is therefore subject to the terms and conditions of those operators of the airlines, other transportation and accommodation providers concerned. Hotels and Meals / Apartments and Meals Accommodation in this brochure is based on twin or double-bedded rooms. Single rooms may be available but will be at a supplementary charge. Half Board means you are entitled to breakfast and dinner at the hotel or apartment. Bed and breakfast means you are entitled to breakfast only at the hotel or apartment. Apartment bookings entitle you to accommodation only unless a supplement is paid for meals. No refunds can be given for meals not taken or missed due to travel arrangements or delays, Hotels will not guarantee a hot meal for late arrivals although a salad will usually be provided. Tea or coffee can be charged as an extra at some hotels and unless specified in the hotel description all meals are served buffet style. The kitchen equipment supplied in the self-catering apartments featured in this brochure is only adequate for preparing ‘snack type meals’. We have secured firm allocations in the majority of establishments featured in this brochure and can normally offer immediate confirmation of your holiday arrangements. NB: All allocations have to be released back to the agents six weeks prior to departure and after that date accommodation may be difficult to confirm, any expenses incurred will be added to your account (approximately £15.00 per person). It is essential therefore, in order to ensure your first choice you BOOK EARLY. Your Hotel Room Hotels will not normally guarantee a particular room or floor position, and unless we confirm in writing that a particular room or location is guaranteed, then no responsibility is accepted. Although we cannot guarantee sea view rooms or special room positions, all requests are passed on to our agent in resort. Infirm or Handicapped Passengers. We do our utmost to accommodate passengers with any form of disability BUT we must have FULL details of any infirmity or disability in writing – wheelchair assistance required is NOT sufficient. Without this information in writing we will be unable to process your booking and cannot guarantee your accommodation will be suitable. Cancellations If you cancel your holiday after receipt of your confirmation, the whole deposit will be forfeited. Cancellations are considered effective only from the date of receipt of notice in writing at our offices. Alterations If you wish to make any changes to your holiday arrangements after they have been confirmed, we reserve the right to charge £15.00 per person if we are able to meet your request. For amendments to accommodation, flight or passenger name within six weeks of departure, cancellation charges will apply.
Child Reductions All children’s reductions only apply when the child or children are sharing accommodation with two full paying adults – see individual price box. The price shown is for the first child only – extra children’s prices are on request. NB: Child ages may vary for the reduction. Infants under the age of 2 years NOT requiring their own seat will be charged at £30.00 – Infants do NOT have a baggage allowance.
Holiday Prices All flight and holiday prices in this brochure have been costed on flight prices, exchange rates and hotel tariffs at the time of printing (January 2011). With increased security measures and the current volatility of fuel prices and currency exchange, extra fees and surcharges are often introduced at short notice and we reserve the right to pass on any such increases to the client. In the event of any such increases by the airlines and/or hoteliers and/or transport providers these increases will be passed on to the client. Every reasonable endeavour will made to minimise any increases but in any event we will absorb the first 2% of surcharge on inclusive holidays. Delays or Diversions In the unlikely event of this happening either at the beginning or the end of your holiday, then any expenses incurred, i.e. for extra overnight accommodation, meals, taxis etc are your own responsibility it is ESSENTIAL therefore that you carry sufficient cash or a credit card to cover any such expenses. Please note however, if you have taken out the travel insurance offered, you may be able to make a claim for a compensation payment. This payment is not meant to reimburse any out of pocket expenses incurred; it is a one-off compensation payment. Brochure Accuracy Every effort is made by us to give as accurate a description as possible for the hotels and apartments featured in this brochure. All facilities mentioned in the descriptions are generally available for the duration of the brochure but in certain circumstances their provision may be limited or unavailable, e.g. weather conditions, maintenance periods, low occupancy etc. We ask you to note that the provision of these facilities and any charges imposed for their use are totally outside the control of Travtel. Disputes Disputes, which cannot be amicably settled, may (if the customer so wishes) be referred to arbitration under a special scheme, which though devised by arrangement with the Association of British Travel Agents, is administered independently by the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. The scheme (details of which will be supplied on request) provides for a simple and inexpensive method of arbitration on documents alone with restricted liability on the customer in respect of costs. The scheme does not apply to claims over certain limits or to those, which are solely, or mainly in respect of physical injury or illness. If you elect to seek redress under this scheme, written notice requesting arbitration must be made within 9 months after the scheduled date of return from holiday. In all instances of dissatisfaction with accommodation or with our agent, a complaint must be made at the time to the hotel direct or to our agents representative.
