coordinating special events hosted by the athletic department. The 2000 Southern Conference’s Tennis Co-Coach of the Year, Groshon guided Citadel tennis for eight years retiring as coach in 2000. He finished his head coaching career with a .508 winning percentage and a 90-87 overall record at The Citadel. Under his guidance, the ITA recognized the tennis team as an AllAcademic Team for NCAA Division I institutions in both 1998 and 1999. For the fourth consecutive year, Groshon was the Southern Conference Men’s and Women’s Tennis Championships Director. Groshon, 52, is a 1976 Citadel graduate with a degree in business administration.

Robby Bennett, a 1993 graduate of The Citadel, is in his ninth year as ticket manager and his sixth as Assistant Athletics Director/Event Management. Bennett joined the athletic department in January of 1998 as ticket manager having worked at the Mount Pleasant Recreation Department as an aquatic supervisor.
