Directed by Om Raut, the film's narrative is set in the 17th century and based on the life of Tanaji Malusare, who was the military leader of king Chatrapati Shivaji maharaj, founder of the Maratha Empire. he Haunted Ship is an upcoming 2020 Indian Hindi-language horror thriller film directed by Bhanu Pratap Singh and jointly produced by Karan Johar, Hiroo Yash Johar, Apoorva Mehta and Shashank Khaitan. It is based on a true accident that took place in Mumbai, and tells the story of a couple on an abandoned ship lying static on a beach. The film features Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar and Ashutosh Rana in lead roles, and is the first film of a planned horror film franchise. The film, a prequel in part, traces Chulbul Pandey’s journey from a young man named Dhaakad to police officer Chulbul Pandey, and his fight with the demons of his past.
Analysis : This is the third instalment of the 'Dabangg' franchise, and the audience is well-acquainted with the larger-than-life, lovable cop and his world. Chulbul (Salman) spends his average day romancing his wife Rajjo (Sonakshi), troubling his brother Makkhi (Arbaaz) and fighting and reforming goons. All is well, until he busts a prostitution racket and saves a bunch of girls, which angers the ringleader, the rich and powerful Balli (Sudeep).

Cut to, Chulbul Pandey’s beginnings, a huge chunk of the first part of the film is about his younger days, his love interest – the beautiful and naive Khushi (Saiee) – and the circumstances that urged him to turn over a new leaf and become Robinhood Panday. There are ample clapworthy and seeti-maar moments in Prabhudeva’s 'Dabangg 3' for Salman Khan fans to lap up. Yes, he takes off his shirt, flaunts his well-toned, perfectly-greased body and beats up the goons to pulp.
Final Word: Overall, the film has all the ingredients required for a massy masala entertainer — good action, music, drama and, of course, Salman packing all of this in one story. The portions where the actor throws in comedy while doing hardcore action scenes are nicely done.

When a couple trying to have a baby, are unable to conceive naturally, they decide to go for an IVF (in-vitro fertilization) procedure. But a mix up by their doctor leads to much confusion.
Analysis : Deepti (Kareena Kapoor Khan) and Varun Batra (Akshay Kumar) are a posh, high-flying married couple, living in Mumbai and are much involved with their respective careers. Deepti also has her heart set on having a baby and after trying for a few years and then, some prodding by the family, both Varun and she decide to consult one of the best fertility specialists in the city.

The doctor advises IVF and they are ready for it. Only hitch, few days after the procedure is through, Deepti and Varun are told there has been a sperm mix-up with another couple with the same last name. Enter 'the Batras from Chandigarh' into their lives. Honey (Diljit Dosanjh) and Monika (Kiara Advani) are a loud Punjabi couple and now it’s a complete clash of sensibilities between the two sets of Batras. As both Deepti and Monika soon find out they are pregnant, the rest of the film forms how the couples come to terms and deal with this unusual situation. Through much of its runtime, director Raj Mehta ensures that 'Good Newwz' stays true to its genre with several light-hearted and funny moments. Add to that, the pace of the film stays mostly tight.
Final Word: At the heart of it, 'Good Newwz' is a light and breezy comedy and certainly makes for an entertaining watch.

Venky Mama
Venky Mama is the story of Venkat Ratnam Naidu (Venkatesh) and his nephew Karthik (Naga Chaitanya). After losing his parents in an accident, Venky takes care of his nephew and they are well bonded. Rama Narayana (Nassar), father of Venky believes in superstitions and he is against Karthik because of the Sri Krishna Amsam. In a sudden move, Karthik joins the army without informing Venky. The rest of Venky Mama is all about what happens next. Watch Venky Mama to know about the complete story and their love stories with Vennela (Payal Rajput) and Haarika (Rashi Khanna).
Analysis : Venky Mama has a decent first half with fun-filled episodes. The songs are passable and well shot. Venky carries the film on his shoulders and the rural episodes came out well. His bonding with Chaitu is well presented.

The interval episodes elevate the film well. Though the narration is completely predictable, Venky Mama has its moments and the love stories have been narrated in an engaging manner. On the whole, the first half of Venky Mama looks decent. The second half of the film takes an unexpected turn. The crucial Kashmir episodes make no impact on screen and they look lengthy. The entertainment will not appeal to the audience and sounds forceful. The songs are ok on screen. Once again, it is Venky who carries the film on his shoulders. Chaitanya has nothing much to emote and he does well in Kashmir episodes.
Final Word: After an impressive first half, the second half of Venky Mama falls flat and it makes no impact. Venkatesh shines well in the role.

Ruler
Arjun Prasad (Balakrishna) is a happening businessman who leads the industries of Sarojini Prasad (Jayasudha). On a business work, Arjun moves to Uttar Pradesh where he comes to know about an insult that his mother faces in the past. Once he arrives in Uttar Pradesh, people start calling him Dharma and admires him. The rest of Ruler is all about the relation between Arjun Prasad and Dharma. Watch the film to know about the backstory of Ruler.
Analysis : Ruler has an interesting plot and the first half of the film sounds pretty impressive. Laced with all the commercial elements, Balakrishna's stylish looks and his presentation are the major highlights.

The songs have been shot well and the performances of the lead actors carry the film further. The interval episodes are quite powerful and elevate the film well. On the whole, the first half of Ruler happens to be decent and it keeps good expectations on the second half. The second half of Ruler fails to make the needed impact. Balakrishna looks rough as Dharma which will not appeal to the audience. The entire second half looks loud and is filled with unwanted mass elements. The songs have been canned well though they do not sound good.
Final Word: Ruler looks like a half baked mass entertainer with an overdose of action and bad narration. Balakrishna shines well in his assignments.

Dabangg 3 is a 2019 Indian Hindi-language action comedy film directed by Prabhu Deva and co-produced by Salman Khan and Arbaaz Khan under their respective banners of Salman Khan Films and Arbaaz Khan Productions. The film serves as a circumaural the 2010 film Dabangg and 2012 film Dabangg 2, and is the third installment of the Dabangg film series. The screenplay of the film is written by Salman Khan, Prabhu Deva, and Alok Upadhyaya. The story, written by Salman Khan, is set in the state of Madhya Pradesh. The film features Salman Khan, Sonakshi Sinha and Arbaaz Khan reprising their roles from the previous film, along with Sudeep as the antagonist and Saiee Manjrekar in her Bollywood debut. Set after the events of Dabangg 2, the film showcases Chulbul Pandey's origin as a police officer, after his encounter with an old rival named Bali Singh refreshes his memory. Along with dubbed versions in Kannada, Tamil and Telugu languages, the film was theatrically released in India on 20 December 2019. It opened to mixed reviews from critics who praised Khan and Sudeep's performances while others found it formulaic and weaker as compared to the prequels. At the box office, the film's collec-

On the second day, the film collected Rs 23.75 crore. On the third day, the film collected Rs 30.50 crore, taking total opening weekend collection to Rs 78.75 crore. As of 5 January 2020, with a gross of Rs 171.71 crore in India and Rs 39.18 crore overseas, the film has a worldwide gross collection of Rs 210.89 crore.

Things are going great for me and I give the complete credit to all the good films that are coming my way. If such good stories come my way, music will automatically flow and the same is happening with my songs.
Your response about Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo songs? Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo is close to my heart and I thank Trivikram sir for the opportunity and the way he extracted some fabulous tunes. Thanks to the audience for making the singles super hit.
Tell us about Venky Mama? Many think that Venky Mama is a very jovial film. But apart from that, the film has a very emotional story. I have watched the rough cut of the film and I had tears in my eyes. I feel that the emotional content in the film will touch everyone. The music has also come out quite well.
What goes behind the composition of your songs? Sometimes, the director is very clear as to what kind of music he wants for his film

and gives me the script. He is the ultimate boss and I completely depend on his suggestions for the songs of the film. As they are very aware of the scenes, I discuss with them and give my output.
Did you know that some of your recent hits will be such big when you composed? Yes, in a way!. As I have a good amount of experience, I get a feeling that this song will create a sensation in the coming days. My opinions have never gone wrong in the recent past. I thank the audience for making my recent songs such big hits all over.
What's special about Venky Mama? For sure, the chemistry between Venky Chay is going to be the highlight of the film. Be it their comedy or emotions, their track will be quite special in the film. They will entertain you thoroughly in the film with their superb act.

Akshay Kumar was born in Amritsar, Punjab, India to Hari Om Bhatia and Aruna Bhatia in a Punjabi family. His father was an army officer. From a young age, Kumar was very interested in sports. The first of two cinematic parts, the film follows Sivudu, an adventurous young man who helps his love, a rebellious warrior intending to rescue the former queen of Mahishmati. In the process, he learns of his true identity as the heir to the throne of Mahishmati, the son of Amarendra Baahubali, whose tale is narrated to him by Kattappa, a loyal warrior. When asked about Amarendra's whereabouts, Kattappa reveals that he was the one who killed him. The reason behind this is explained in the follow-up Baahubali 2: The Conclusion. The film was conceived by Rajamouli's father KV Vijayendra Prasad, who randomly told him a story about Sivagami, a woman who carries a baby in her hand while crossing a river, and a few years later about Kattappa, which intrigued Rajamouli. His fascination with mythology and the tales of the Amar Chitra Katha comics further
fuelled his interest in the story. However, it took the writers three months to complete the final draft. The soundtrack and background score were composed by MM Keeravani while the cinematography, production design, and VFX were handled by KK Senthil Kumar, Sabu Cyril and V. Srinivas Mohan respectively. The film was made on a budget of Rs 180 crore (US$25 million), making it the most expensive Indian film at its time of release. The film opened worldwide on 10 July 2015, garnering critical acclaim and record-breaking box office success. With a worldwide box office gross of Rs 650 crore (US$91 million), it became the highest-grossing film in India, third highest-grossing Indian film worldwide, and highest-grossing South Indian film, at the time of its release. Its Hindi dubbed version also broke several records by becoming
the highest-grossing dubbed the film in India. Both budget and box office records have since been surpassed by Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, the second highest-grossing Indian film of all time. It received several accolades. It won the National Film Award for Best Special Effects and Best Feature Film, becoming the first Telugu film to win the award. At the 63rd Filmfare Awards South, the Telugu version won five awards from ten nominations, including Best Film, Best Director for Rajamouli and Best Supporting Actress for Ramya Krishna respectively. Baahubali: The Beginning became the first Indian film to be nominated for Saturn Awards, receiving five nominations at the 42nd ceremony, including Best Fantasy Film and Best Supporting Actress.
