ith events that bring in crowds from all over the United States, downtown Cincinnati has been setting the bar for the entire region with its unique entertainment and events. The Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber produces events like the infamous Oktoberfest Zinzinnati, Taste of Cincinnati and Party in the Park. “The chamber has unbelievable expertise in managing these events. When it comes down to it though, these are the community’s events,” says Patrick Sheeran, vice president of programs and Downtown Council of the Cincinnati Chamber. For those who love Cincinnati cuisine, Taste of Cincinnati has been dishing up Cincinnati’s best to the community for 35 years. Kicking off Memorial Day weekend, the event features local restaurants and gives new venues a chance to plate up their grub to their communities. “We had record crowds this year for Taste. People really embraced the emphasis we put on good food from new restaurants,” says Sheeran. Every year, six blocks of downtown Cincinnati are dedicated to
